Services for Company Incorporation in Turkey

Transactions of company incorporation in Turkey begin by uploading the required documents to the MERSIS (central registration) system, followed by submission thereof to the relevant trade registry directorate after notary public certification procedures, and completed with tax office and social security notifications. Company incorporation procedures in Turkey are not subject to any government charges; only fees for the chamber of commerce and notary public are paid. Company incorporation in Turkey by foreign natural or legal persons is subject to the same rules as that by local investors.

The Turkish Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) Law, which is based on the principle of fair treatment, grants the same rights and obligations to international investors as local investors. Conditions of company incorporation and transfer of shares are the same as those applicable to domestic investors. Accordingly, international investors are able to incorporate all types of companies specified in the Turkish Commercial Code (TCC). The TCC presents a corporate governance approach that meets international standards, encourages private capital and public offering activities, provides transparency in management processes and renders the Turkish business environment compliant with EU regulations and the process of EU membership.
